Where do the songs come from?

beatSNIPE is a search engine and none of the songs are hosted on our server. All the audio files come from various sources on the internet

Is the music legal?

Many of the audio files are posted by third parties for promotional purposes. beatSNIPE is not intended for illegal downloads. Do not download the audio file if you feel it is copyrighted. Use beatSNIPE to discover new artists and then go support them by buying their music.

Sometimes a song doesn’t play, why is that?

There are instances where it could be a bad link or perhaps the link to the file has changed by the source and it can’t be streamed live. Try downloading it instead.

Why do some songs not have a download link?

You can try clicking the Similar Results link, that may give you other sources which may offer a download link. However, sometimes these third parties that host the music do not allow you to download the song from their site, therefore there is not a download link.

When I click download it just opens it up in a new window and plays the song, why is that?

Some browsers may require you to right click on the download link and select “save target as”.
